Pootz In Boots

Mine is a life worth living and if I could turn back the clock, I would play the same scene at the same speed with the same players... regrets? Of course I have some but that adds the colours to this life..

Trip to Kulai - 27/12/2008 Cousin's Wedding Reception

We missed the wedding solemnisation ceremony (nikah) at the Shah Alam blue mosque and the wedding reception (at bride's side) on the 21st December 2008, due to a silly reason too embarrassing to be mentioned here.
Since we did not make it to the 21st Dec do, by hook or by crook, we have to attend my cousin's wedding reception at his parents' in Kulai on 27th Dec. My aunt (Mak Yah) left early together with my youngest aunt's troop. My Mom and eldest sister (and Angel's kids) were also in the van. They pushed off from my place at 7.00 am arriving around 11.30am. We had to leave later, after Haakem finished his grading test. I had the girls ready and by 12.40, we were all strapped in the rented Nazaria and made our way to Sg Besi toll plaza only to join the heavy traffic jam. Millie was not feeling too well with the slow moving traffic and she vommitted that we had to stop at the Shell (immediately after the toll plaza) to clean her up and had her clothes changed. Zara was sleeping while all these took place. Haakem was busy watching Ahmad Albab.
Traffic was really slow that we only reached Nilai at 2pm. Hubby made 2 stops for his fag.
We could only pick up our speed after Ayer Keroh. At 140km/h, we reached Yong Peng around 4pm and stopped at Simpang Renggam to change the girls into their frocks.
We arrived at my aunt's place at 5.00pm, met the relatives, had our meal and performed our Asar/Zuhr prayers. After Maghrib/Isya' jama' prayers, my aunt and cousins packed foods for us and we pushed off back to KL at 8.00pm. Stopping twice to change the girls' diapers and toilet trips. We arrived back home at 12.30am. ALHAMDULILLAH, another social obligations completed.

And the next day, we were transported back to Kulai by Astro's live coverage on Mawi-Ekin's wedding reception at Felda Taib Andak.
