Pootz In Boots

Mine is a life worth living and if I could turn back the clock, I would play the same scene at the same speed with the same players... regrets? Of course I have some but that adds the colours to this life..

Prettiest Eyes - Beautiful South - My Fav from 1995

Line one is the time
That you, you first stayed over at mine
And we drank our first bottle of wine
And we cried

Line two were away
And we both, we both had nowhere to stay
Well the bus-shelters always ok
When youre young

Now youre older and I look at your face
Every wrinkle is so easy to place
And I only write them down just in case
That you die

Lets take a look at these crows feet, just look
Sitting on the prettiest eyes
Sixty 25th of decembers
Fifty-nine 4th of julys
Not through the age or the failure, children
Not through the hate or despise
Take a good look at these crows feet
Sitting on the prettiest eyes

Line three I forget
But I think, I think it was our first ever bet
And the horse we backed was short of a leg
Never mind

Line four in a park
And the things, the things that people do in the dark
I could hear the faintest beat of your heart
Then we did

Now youre older and I look at your face
Every wrinkle is so easy to place
And I only write them down just in case
You should die

Lets take a look at these crows feet, just look
Sitting on the prettiest eyes
Sixty 25th of decembers
Fifty-nine 4th of julys
You cant have too many good times, children
You cant have too many lines
Take a good look at these crows feet
Sitting on the prettiest eyes

Well my eyes look like a map of the town
And my teeth are either yellow or theyre brown
But youll never hear the crack of a frown
When you are here
You'll never hear the crack
Of a frown

13 May 2008

Eh, dah bulan Mei? Subhanallah..... dah nak separuh Mei... 13 Mei? Eh, tak celebrate ek? Tak boleh ek? Racism ek? I think my aunt still keeps the keris and pedang my grandpa used to join the amuk on this day some 39 years ago..... hmmm.....
Naper Gomen tak nak guna 13 Mei as a day to announce perpaduan kaum? Sensitip ek? Ok... dismiss the idea... forget I even suggested that.....
What's happened to me for the past b13 days in this month of May? Well, it has been quite.... FAST!!!
Luckily there hasn't been any long distant travelling but there has been a lot of staybacks. Hubby started working in KB and he is a weekend husband now. Being in KL on Fridays and Saturdays only, to run errands.... mainly for his personal career advancement. Millie misses her Dad quite a bit. Haakem is okay....
The 1st May holiday was much welcomed. I have been spending most of the 2 weeks on paper works. Drafting, reviewing documents and responding to requests for advice/consultation. Quite a lot has been accomplished.
With my immediate boss due for overseas duties next week, I have to ensure that everything that requires her approval/signature are completed. Argh!! The thought of standing in for her is quite daunting because I have my share of assignments to finish.
More contract negotiations are due end of the month and early next month.
I am also due for my monthly check up this Friday. I will take the day off to do attend to some personal matters as well.
Last weekend was spent tidying my room especially the drawers and closets. 4 bags of rubbish was thrown after almost 2 days of hard work, in my bedroom. This shall be continued soon.... I am approaching the living room cabinets..... Nesting instinct that is as I am well approaching my 7th gestational month.
We are attending my cousins' wedding. 2 sisters and a brother shall have a wedding reception on the 31st May. They have all been through the nikah ceremonies from in March, April and last week at various locations.
