Muar Trip 101009
My last trip to Muar was way back in November 2008, for a cousin's wedding. Almost a year ago and even then we did not pay the visit to the usual houses. The wedding was held at a Community Hall too. So, yesterday, we made the trip to Muar, visiting a relative (Mak Yah's late husband's adopted daughter, Hasnah) at Muar Specialist Hospital aka GH (BOY!!! THE PLACE HAS HAD A REALLY NICE FACLIFTS!!!). The last I went there was in 1988. Ironically, the bed we visited is only 2 beds away from where my late grandma was occupying when she was down with stroke 11 years ago.... I accompanied her for 2 nights... the ward was brand new then. Unlike most GHs in Klang Valley, there were no "foreign" patients in sight.
Anyhow, after packing (I did everything, of course) and Bibik getting the girls ready in Raya frocks, we left the house at 10.30am, cruising comfortably on the PLUS Hiway, (stopping once for hubby's fag), arriving in Muar at 12.30, heading straight to the GH. Only me and Mak yah went to the ward while hubby, Haakem, the girls and Bibik waited at the parking lot, which is nicely shaded under a tree.
At 2.00pm we headed to Kak Hasnah's youngest son's home in Bukit Treh, Boyin. I think I wrote about him a few years back. He is the only one among the 3 boys who has a family. We we served drinks and crisps. Bibik changed the girls's diapers and Zara's dress, into a more comfortable one. Except for hubby, we performed our Jama' Qasar prayers and by 3.00pm headed to my uncle (Pak Lang)'s home in Bukit Gambir. Pak Lang is my mother's immediate elder brother. We arrived around 4.00 and had our late lunch of white rice, fried chicken, fried fish, curry fish, mixed vegetables and some fruits. We left at 5.30pm, stopping at Masjid Bukit Kangkar for hubby to perform her prayers, pushing off finally at 6.20pm. We stopped at Ayer Keroh R&R for hubby's fag and some isotonic drinks. Haakem, Millie and Zara 9and Bibik) slept almost all the way. We wanted to stop at Nilai for Maghrib/Isya' but there were like 30 men in the male's queue for the ablution and we decided to stop at Serdang instead. So stopped at Serdang we did around 8.00pm. Hubby, Mak Yah and Haakem went first. I made some milk for Zara and while Bibik was feeding her, Millie and I stretched my legs. When hubby and Haakem were done, I asked Haakem to accompany me to the ladies (to hold my telekung while I did my business), only to discover that I had my period.... heheheheh (tak pregnant laaa.... dah 2 weeks late).
So, I asked Haakem to show Bibik to the toilet and surau instead. While waiting for Bibik to finish, we took pictures. We pushed of home at 8.45pm, arriving some half an hour later.
Upon entering the house, I took off my tudung leaving the rest to settle the bags, Bibik dealing with the girls, cook some rice, clean the mussles (bought on the way back), made some omelette, heat up some left over fish and dinner was ready at 10pm. While waiting for the food to cook, I put the laundry in the washing machine. We had dinner at 10.20pm, cleared the table at 10.45pm. I then unpacked the bags and did another cycle of laundry. The girls and Haakem slept by 12.00 midnight while hubby went out to meet some friends. I showered and changed around 12.30am. Then went to the kitchen to peeled off the rest of the mussels, to cook something else with it today.
When hubby came back at 1.30am, I was putting a new batch of laundry into the machine while Bibik was putting the first batch on the lines. I slept by 2.00am 9and woke up this morning to see Haakem off and had a cramp. I hate this. I had to massaged the tummy and the legs.... (hmm.... macam anak dara la pulok ada period pain). Had to come to office half an hour late after nursing myself back to health. Hubby sent me to office....
And today, he's my FB friend..... hehehhehe.... comey....
